The Mean of GOST

GOST is an abbreviation of Gosudarstvenny Standard, which is a national technical standard established by the Euro-Asian Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC), which means a federal standard in Russian. Currently, as the GOST certificate issued by country and the subject of the certification authority issued are different, GOST-R in Russia and GOST-K in Kazakhstan.

GOST Strength Calculation.

As with the widely used ASME strength calculation, GOST strength statement is required within Russia and CIS countries. The GOST Strength Calculation Report for Heat Exchanger, Column, and Pressure Vessel, is one of the documents required when issuing the TRCU certificate and the Technical Passport.
